Who are Martin and Aleta Curry?

Aleta is a writer with more years’ experience in writing and editing than she admits to in public. She spent more than 10 years in the corporate world, in methods analysis (analyzing the way people do their jobs and writing procedures), and was really good at it, but the writing was formulaic, and Aleta eventually decided to see if she could make a living doing more creative writing, and/or turning a hobby into a business. Over the years, Aleta’s writing concentrations change, but she remains prolific.  At present she is a specialist editor at The Citizendium, the online encyclopaedia, having written and researched enough over the years to be considered an expert on dog breeds.  She also writes extensively about antiques, being a third general collector who inherited a love of glass from her grandmother.

Martin is a multi-dimensional skilled tradesman who has owned and operated a respected business for many years.   Like his wife, he is a longtime collector of decorative arts and antiques, and has a formidable knowledge of English and European porcelain.

The Currys decided to develop skills learned during years of antique collecting into a business, and opened Aleta’s Antiques.

Martin and Aleta are affiliated with many professional, trade and civic associations.
